Located in Kelso in the Scottish Borders, Floors Castle is a stunning architectural gem that the family lives in permanently. The 10th Duke of Roxburghe spent the latter half of the 20th Century adapting his ancestral home to the changing times. A chapel at Dunnottar is said to have been founded by St Ninian in the 5th century, although it is not clear when the site was first fortified, but in any case the legend is late and highly implausible.
