If that is the case, my guess is that the "mouth" of the snap-cap is too rounded/chamfered on its outer edge and the firing pin is wedging it past the shoulder of the chamber. I took my first shots for precision and slow fire to get a feel for the gun. Pretty much what I expected; neither too stout nor overly soft-shooting. If feels like a gun its size and weight should feel when shooting 9mm.

WebSo either this particular box of gold dots are out of spec (which I doubt, as each round fed/ejected fine in my other 9mm), or the chamber is too tight. I am guessing the chamber is too tight. This is also an older gun. If the chamber is a bit too tight it may have to be reamed....I have had to have this done before on a Kimber 1911.
