Overall I am happy with the way it is running right now but I think it can be better. I keep seeing that the IAC steps need to be set between 6 and 10 for it to run properly. After it is warmed up I can get the idle set at 850 and the IAC around 8 or 10.

I called fitech they told me once IAC is set correctly cold starts and other problems should be good. It worked ! this is what i did. 1. Get eng to operating temp. 2. make small adjustments to front and back idle screws. WebJun 9, 2024 · Do this by slightly by turning the primary idle speed screw out (counter-clockwise) about a half turn. This should slow the engine down. Then shut the engine off long enough for the TPS to reset. Restarting the engine should reveal an increase in the IAC steps to perhaps around 8-10.
