WebDec 22, 2024 · In pre-0.50 DF, you could edit the init.txt file to use a tileset with square (or any other resolution) tiles instead of standard 4*3. 0.50 still has the 16x16 version of the standart tileset, but using it makes the game unplayable since there seems to be no support for non-4*3 tiles. At smaller display resolutions, the game window may take up more space than is available on your screen but can be fixed by resizing the game window, which will cause the pixels to be drawn at a scaled-down size to-fit.
