I'm pretty sure it doesn't anyway, considering it was originally used by a sorcerer, not a pyromancer. The dusk crown ring likely doesn't either. To my knowledge there isn't a headgear that increases pyromancer potency. It does affect them in Dark Souls 1. Well I could be wrong.
